大草原上有一群馬，而馬王正在追趕著一匹小馬。小馬聲聲呼喚著自己的母親，母馬卻從未將視線離開馬王過。看著母親如此，小馬漸漸陷入絕望。受不了父親的撕咬，小馬轉身想要逃跑，卻被父親一腳踹倒。當牠在地上掙扎時，馬王往後退了幾步，低著頭直直的朝牠衝了過來。小馬好不容易著爬了起來，又被父親撞到在地。還沒來的及反應，馬王抬起前腳想要往小馬身上踩下去。小馬翻滾了一圈，顧不得腳上的疼痛，一跛一跛的跑進了森林。牠一路狂奔，直到牠再也跑不動了，急忙回頭看向身後。幸好，父親沒有追上來。
